Nicolas is a young upcoming winemaker, with no background for winemaking, but as train driver in Paris.
Nicolas and his wife Thydha wanted to change their lives into one filled with passion and something to animate them from morning till evening. They share a big love for dining and drinking wine together with loved ones – so why not build their lifes around that.
They decided to make wine, and now they live in the small town Cravant-les-Côteaux, just outside of Chinon.
Nicolas owns 4 hectares planted with mainly Cabernet franc and Chenin Blanc, all treated after the organic practices. The fermentations start spontaneously and take place in a mix of concrete and fibreglass. Most of the wines also age in the same containers, but he started working with some old barrique as well.
Nicolas makes super clean and fresh wines with high drinkability! Simply just taste great!
