Wow! A little bomb of a white wine. According to Mas Foulaquier, they have taken their best grapes from their best fields and aged them in terracotta amphora for 24 months. The result is a very intensely fragrant and wildly tasty wine that appears orange in color but is a white wine. The nose is packed with
fruit, both dried apricots, quince and elements of citrus. It is crunchy, but in a fantastic balance between the immediately fruity and the mineral complexity it has from the calcareous soil and the long aging in amphora.

Can be enjoyed with cheese in particular, but has a broad range and can easily function alone as pure meditation wine.

Mas Foulaquier

Mas Foulaquier, situated in Pic Saint Loup, a bit north from Montpellier in the region Languedoc-Roussillon.

Pierre Jéquier and Blandine Cauchat run their relatively small vineyards (since 1998) with excellent craftsmanship and in deep respect for the natural surroundings. Through this, they create balance of the vines and vineyards, securing strong, resistant vineyards and healthy grapes. All vines are biodynamically grown and are in the cellar made to express the limestone-terroir and the almost entirely hand picked grapes in the best way.

Pierre and Blandine make wines with balance, finesse and fruit instead of high extractions. Extremely precise wines from the south!
